Question from Nirusha: “I am going to shooting my neighbors in their Halloween costumes. Their family is going head to toe as The Avengers. Mom, Dad and 4 kids 10-16 years old. I am looking for some sites that would have really great overlays, backgrounds or broken buildings, and other things that would work as a cool Halloween image for The Avengers. Any Suggestions?
Dewey: I would suggest an industrial park in your town. Lots of old containers and stuff usually hanging around outside.
Cynthia: I used a post office exterior for a super hero shoot. Concrete eagles and an Art Deco feel.
Rachel: Downtown of a big city or something very ‘urban’
Dena: Oooh I want to see these photos!!
Stephanie: Backdrop and Photoshop if you really want the grungy, ‘mean streets’ feel
Tom: If you’re looking for digital backgrounds, istockphoto or streetscapebackgrounds are good
Nirusha: Thank you everyone!
Mariah: Try a wall that’s began to crumble
