Question from Corbi: “What program can I use to watermark pictures? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Chris: Make up your own watermark in photoshop . Then use it in Lightroom .
Sarah: Russell Brown’s photoshop plug-in. Works wonders and it’s free.
Corbi: @sarah is that online?
Bridget: Do you have Photoshop or Lightroom?
Corbi: I have photoshop but I’m honestly not. even sure how to use it
Corbi: I usually don’t do much editing to my pictures
Anna: You can make your own watermark in any program and convert to jpeg then use it in lightroom!
Krysteena: Lightroom will let you batch watermark… So you can do them all at once!
Corbi: Ohh thanks so much everyone!:)
Jess: Photoshop
Emilia: If you have Mac I love JetPhoto Studio, you can change sizes and watermark in batch, which is super fast don’t need to operate other program with this one
Belinda: Please tell me, when you watermark in LR4 – is it in a layer style? So if you need to remove it, like a psd in PSE ?
Sasha: After you have a watermark which should be saved in a png or a PS file (so there is a transparent background and there isn’t a white border around it), in photoshop you go to file, place, and select your watermark file and then when you have it where you want press enter. You can find tons of videos on youtube on how to use photoshop. Its good to have a basic knowledge of it if you own it.
Brian: You can use LR to easily watermark all your images on export. Using LR you can offset it, set its opacity, use a graphic etc. It’s pretty easy.
You can also use Photoshop to watermark it, however you will need to create a batch process. And then apply to a bunch of images by running the process on all the images through automation.
@Belinda – if you apply the watermark, it is part of the image. You can not easily remove it. It is easier to just export without the watermark.
