Question from Desiree: “What is your favorite lens to use at weddings?”
The “I Do” Photographer Network: 70-200 hands down!
Tanya: Love this lens too…and the 85mm 1.2, it’s just beautiful ♥
BP4U: We have the 85 but i always find myself picking the 50 over the 85. What do you primarily use the 85 to shoot during the wedding Tanya?
Bailie: I love my 70-200 2.8 but I also really love the 85 1.8
Debbie: I just rented the 70-200 2.8 OMG it is heavy – do you hand hold or tripod? I can’t imagine how heavy it is going to be attached to the body of my camera… Wanted to rent it before I bought it – now thinking it might be too heavy
Tia: Quick q from beginner to more experienced: Do you typically have 70-200 on one camera and then a smaller lense on a 2nd camera (i.e. 18-70)? Or do you swap lenses as needed?
Dominique: 70-200 tripod on 2nd camera, 18-70 l series on main camera with flash and bracket for moving around.
Desiree: I love all the info! I was on the fence with getting a 50mm or 85mm. 50mm it is
Todd: I use my Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens the most!
Tanya: I use the 85mm for my wedding/couple portraits. Images are so sharp & clear and I seem to spend less time editing them ;D.
