Question from Shawn: “What is a good speed to capture a person tossing up leaves?”

Adriana: about 1/250 or higher

Amanda: 1/250 or higher but I would shoot for 1/500 if you have enough light.

Colleen: I would suggest 500+ if you wish to freeze the leaves….

Sadie: I agree, at least 1/250, the higher the better, though!

Jennifer: Yep 500+ I did a shot with a 1/4000 shutter speed and I used that to freeze the leaves, turned out perfect! So I would say try that 🙂

Steve: depends on whether you want to capture movement or freeze the leaves in midair. Try a range of speeds, you never know, you might be pleasantly surprised!

Shawn: Thanks everyone! Have a great day!

Kelly: Would you use the same speed for capturing blowing glitter and dandelions. I can never find a how to on capturing blowing.

Tandy: Following. 🙂
