Question from Tami: “Is there anyway to get that matte finish look to your pictures using photoshop elements? I know this is possible with actions but I’m wondering if you can achieve this look without using actions? Thanks so much.”

Tashia:  following for answer

Jael: same here

Stephanie: Use a levels adjustment and the bottom slider move the black slider to the right until you are happy with it. (I’m assuming you can do this in elements, but I don’t own the program, I’m on CS6)

Stacy:  I don’t use elements, but I am assuming the same as Stephanie above me said – adjust your black slider until it is less black to achieve the matte look.

Chris: Following

Scott:  I use Elements and the levels slider does work for matte look. Watch that you don’t wash out your image too much.

Marsha:  The key here.. Make sure your monitor is calibrated or this could go very wrong very quickly.

Christina: I have an action i got with folrabellas new set colorplay that is a matte toner that i absolutly love!
