Question from Suz: “How can a logo be transparent with a png file?”
Tracy: You have to remove the background color. Then save it as a png file.
Andrea: how do you remove the background color?
Christy: Make it an editable layer, try magic wand to delete background, resave
Natalie: If you’re in photoshop you can right-click on the eraser and switch to “erase background”, too
Kat: Pngs allow transparencies. You just need to delete the background colour
Kendra: If the background is a separate layer, in cs5, you can just drag that layer to the trash can in the bottoms right hand corner.
