Question from Sharon: “My question for a rainy day: have you ever been on a shoot at an event and asked someone to kindly lose their gum? I don’t mean at a senior or family shoot .. but a wedding where you’re dealing with group shots and candids, where gum chomping inevitably ruins your favorite shots.”
Jasmin: as soon as I see someone with a gum during a shooting I ask friendly to lose it, so far never had a problem with that 🙂
Christina: If I’m working one on one with someone, then yes totally. If it’s a group shot, then I’ll just make sure to say, “Mouths closed!” when I’m taking the images.
Kristen: I always ask them to toss it, or smoosh it to the roof of their mouth if they have to keep it.
Geneva: Absolutely!
Tom: The bride was chewing gum at mytoadt wedding. I kindly said “Lose the gum, please!
Jennifer: At my last wedding I asked them to lose the gum! The groomsmen were all chomping on it!
Tabitha: Lol yep that and…ugh groom with “dip” in his mouth..was funny though bc when I asked him if he could spit it out for the posed shots a buddy said to go rinse too! Lol
