Hi, I’m Courtney of Courtney Thompson Photography and I am a natural light photographer based in beautiful Nelson BC, Canada. I draw my inspiration from nature and prefer to shoot outdoors. I specialize in couples, families, engagements/weddings and still life photography.
These parents to be were on their “baby moon” and had arranged to have a photo shoot while visiting beautiful Maui. They are friends from back in BC and I was so excited when they had approached me to shoot for them.
We had shot a fun early morning beach session that same day, but the sunset shoot was something I had been waiting for, the warm golden hour light was just perfect and the momma-to-be was really glowing and looked so beautiful. You could really feel the love between these two. This was such an amazing opportunity, it’s not everyday that you get to shoot for friends on vacation in such an amazing location.
