My name is Rebekah and I’m a dreamer, lover of beautiful things, and storyteller. I believe in reconnecting our grownup selves to the lost children inside of us through the magic of our children. Because in those early and unguarded moments, our hearts were full of possibility and promises (and anything could happen, especially with a pinch of pixie dust).
Storytelling Session: Jack wants to be a baseball player
Storytelling sessions focus on the magic that is your child. Through the use of a very special questionnaire, I discover what it is that makes the child who they are at a certain point in their lives. Then the parents and I create a special session that is all about that child. For this particular session, Mom told me that Jack was really into baseball, firetrucks, and the national anthem. Because baseball and the national anthem kind of go hand in hand, we decided to create a session based on those two things. Jack got to feel super special because all of the attention was focused on him and what he loves. And mom and dad got to celebrate their 4 year old. Even big sister thought it was so fun that Jack got to have a photo shoot based on something he loves. When you get to combine someone’s favorite thing with a photo session, the images are much more personal and heartfelt. The result is magical.
