Question from Andrea: ” How do you guys stay organized when you start getting 4-5 clients a week? Do you use a workflow dry erase board? A day planner with the client session scheduled in?”
Christie: Planner
Brianne: Planner
Crystal: Ipad…lots of “lists” and notes…Zoho client database w/ticker reminders
Tracy: Planner
Stephanie: I have a wall calendar, a computer calendar, and a written schedule. I add names and cross them off as I go through my workflow!
Ashley: I have a whiteboard calendar in my office for me, and my family to see so we will know were I will be, a planner and my iPhone calendar. I try to finish up one client before I shoot another which obviously doesn’t always work, but efficiency is key! Once you get a system in place it will be clockwork! Best of luck!
Tam: I have 2 diaries, a computer calendar and a calendar on my phone. I cross off when each shoot is done with black mark, then with red when images are complete and picked up..I have a system and it works well 🙂 take a while but you will get there 🙂 I just make sure I have 2 diaries, just in case! ( and the comp one too)
Jen: I have a planner, I keep things also listed in the calendar on my phone and the main family calendar in my house. I always try to keep the albums of photos in order so that I know which session was first and go in order of when the session was.
Jenna: I use a Google Spreadsheet to keep track of my clients and appointments. I also keep my Google Calendar up to date. You can add notes to events, and even a separate calendar just for photography appointment. And it all syncs to my phone (I use an Android phone but it sync with an iPhone just as well).
