Question from Della: “How to you handle using a reflector when you are doing an outside session without any help?”

Jodie: Well my hubby and I work together so it’s not usually a problem but on the rare occasion if your model has someone with them, PUT THEM TO WORK! LOL!! They are always happy to help and find the whole process so interesting.

Chris: You can buy a reflector stand, or hand it on a tree, or just learn to shoot without one

Christina:  I use a tripod with a clip to hold my reflector if I am not holding it my self

Sarah: My reflector came with a stand and I hate it. I find it never stays where I want it to. I normally put the other that are not being photographed to work.

Susannah:  My dad uses reflector stands and then puts sand bags on the feet of it to keep it from moving. it can get tricky though when wind kicks up, but then again, that’s the fun of outdoor photography, right?! I haven’t bought a reflector stand yet, so I still have to get creative 🙂

Brian:  Problem with it being in a stand during an outdoor session is that it pretty much is a sail in the wind. Make sure to sand bag

Stehr Steps Photography: Tripod with a couple clips & small sand bags to prevent flight in wind.

Albita: Lightsphere from Gary Fong

Steve: Use a spare tripod and clip the reflector on using bulldog clips!
