Question from JL Photography: “I was just wondering how to go about creating a contract for my photo’s. I dont have a “buisness licence” however I have been shooting alot of sessions for the last year and a half. I’m not really sure what I can put in this contract or how to go about creating one. But I have been booking alot of weddings and engagment sessions. Please anyone can help me or give me adivce i would greatly appreciate it.”

Selena: Just going to put this out here… Why would you make a contract under your business name if you haven’t registered said name yet?! Anyone can come along and register the name you’re doing business under and claim your work and legal agreements as their own if you don’t claim and register your name ASAP! This is very scary situation to be in and can be so easily avoided if you run on over to your local government building to register your business name. Please please do this right away!
