Hello, I am Shannon. I was born and raised in Michigan, but now I find myself on Long Island, New York. I am a Mom to two beautiful boys, 2.5 yrs old and 6 months old. I also share my home with my very supportive husband and my two step kiddos who are now teens. As you can image, I have a lot of fun capturing them.
Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. My Grandfather was a photographer and I caught the bug. In high school, I was quoted in the yearbook as saying that I would love to one day have my own studio. Now, almost 20 yrs later I finally have a studio in Coram, NY. I studied film photography in college for several years and worked for Life Touch Studios.
Following my passion is a dream come true. I love capturing those fleeting moments that will be cherished for many lifetimes; a newborn’s special features, or a good night kiss at the end of a wedding day. I take pride in being very personable and being able to bring out the fun side in my clients to get those candid moments during a portrait session. I am a huge promoter of self love too, which is why I do boudoir shoots. Every woman needs to know how beautiful they truly are.
