Question from Shannon: “I am shooting a wedding solo and was wondering on something to carry my equipment?? I will have a body with flash bracket, 50mm, 17-50, 70-200, some memory cards, and batteries etc. I have a backpack but don’t want to e carrying and setting down. Anything more mobile to carry and extra lens or two?”

Zoe: I recently used a one of those small suitcases with the handle on wheels. I took out all my protective inserts from my camera bags and inserted them into the case. Worked a treat and I didn’t look like a pack horse!!

Shannon: Kelly Moore bag. I wear mine the whole wedding

Kelly:  A Shootsac! It has 3 pockets for lenses

Colleen:  since you are basically just carrying 2 lenses (and lose stuff), what about a Shoot Sac?? It’s a purse that I have been eyeing….people say that it’s really comfortable. I carry multiple bodies/flashes/lenses, so I do use a camera backpack and set it down…usually in back of church during ceremony and under DJs table at reception. It’s tough…heavy….but prefer it over a rolling case since it’s more portable if I don’t feel comfortable setting it down….

Denise: there are also holsters

Stacey: Kelly moore has a new bag that can also be worn as a back pack. Super stylish too!

Sasha:  Kelly Moore Bag….I’ve been drooling over them for SO long!

Jessica: Undfind bags are great too.

Randi: Whmas wondering same…but something for those of us that can’t spend that much on a brand name bag?

E Shay: ThinkTank Photo. I have their SpeedBelt; it’s fabulous!!! It’s a belt with holsters.

Jaye:  I have a Janine King Bag and a Think Tank sling that I bring to each wedding. Works great! Btw, if you’re shooting solo you’ll want a second camera body! Learn from my experience, I had a wedding in February and my main camera started giving me an Error 99 the morning of the wedding! Luckily I have two back-ups and was able to still have that. Had I been flying into a wedding with just one camera I would have been screwed.

Brian: I have the modullar set from Thinktank, I just loop the 70-200 one around my belt.

Shannon:  Thank you everyone!! I do have a second bodie. Going to take my backpack but was also looking for something comfortable and easy to wear!!!

Sonya: Think tank is the best I’ve used, light and easy to get gear n lenses out of and a great pocket where flash cards won’t fall out
