Question from Amy: ” I am looking into getting a Canon Mark 5D mark ii very very soon. Will the lenses that I had for my Rebel T2i (50 mm 1.4, and 100mm 2.8) fit on that camera?”

BP4U: I’d like to add on, what are your thoughts on the 5d mark 2?

Rhae: Those lenses should fit! Great canera, but way slower than canon 7D

Jenifer: As long as the lens is an EF lens and not EF-S, they will fit. Which both of those are so your good!!

Timothy: If your lenses are EF-S than no they will not. If they are EF than yes they will. 5D MKII is great camera, hold out a couple days because the price is going to be dropped to 1699.00

Karen:  yes they will fit.

Jess: Yes they will! My 50mm 1.4 is even MORE glorious on my 5Dmii. I love FF. I will never go back….. at least happily, haha

Andrew: All canon mount are the same for all SLR. They will fit Rebel, D20 to D60, D7, D5 and D1S or D1x. I starting shouting with the EOS and continues to use it on my D1Mark 4.

Melanie: And the new Canon 3D. 🙂 46 megapixels

Amy: Nice! Thanks guys!

Diana: Yes! And you will love the FF! I went from my trusty 4 year old Rebel to the MK3 and loooove it!

Lae: @Andrew Tee, not entirely true. Canon has a few EF-S lenses out there that will NOT fit on all Canon SLRs

Silver: It will fit! I switched from a rebel to a a mark II this year! I am SO glad I did
