Question from Gabby: “Any tips for keeping a newborn warm for an outdoor newborn session when it’s only a high of about 76 out? It will be of our own little one, and I really want some beautiful outdoor shots.”
Becca: I’d suggest a heater (with a fan, perhaps) with an extension cord.
Sandi: I have heard to use a heating pad under the blanket that the baby is laying on
Sheila: or an electric blanket with a car adapter lol maybe try the stadium/hunting seat cushions under the blankets those are very warming
Stephanie: They make bean-filled ‘stuffies’ (for lack of a better term) that you can microwave and bring with. They do get very hot tho so be careful
Stephanie: And they’re squishy so you can make them snuggly or firm, your choice! And they stay hot for awhile
Jessica: 76 is pretty warm actually! You shouldn’t have a problem with no heater!
Justina: Cozy bebe makes great heatable pillows you can use! They come in 3 sizes.
Deidera: Toss a few pillows in the dryer and try to camouflage them with your set design. Might help. But 76 isnt crazy cold if he/she isn’t out there for too long.
