Question from Melissa: “What lense is best used for shooting at an in home studio?”

Jess: Fixed 50mm

Kelsey: Do you have lots of natural light or studio lighting?

Alysha:  I love my 35mm with my crop body camera and a 50mm with full frame. But it really depends on what your subject is, how big is your space and what kind of camera and lighting you use.

Aaron: 70mm and longer are the most flattering focal lengths for portraits and give the best image compression. However, just as Jfs Photoguy said, there are so many variables.

Colleen: Melissa….can you share the size of space you are shooting in, the light, and the subjects (families, products, portraits, babiees, etc.).  thanks…..we’ll be able to give you the best advice
