Question from Shantel: “I have a huge question. I have a client asking me to suggest themes for engagement photos. What do I say?”

Angel: are they wanting photos through her? or just wanting to pick her brain for themselves?

Brian: Ask them about things like where they met, hobbies that they have, funny inside jokes they may have….then you can come up with themes based around those.

Shanna-Kaye: Picnic theme-grab an old faded quilt at the thrift shop, mason jars, wildflowers, and a woven basket and take them to a local park.

Shanna-Kaye:  Downtown-take “evening” time photos around 4-6pm, getting the evening lit sky. have the girl dress in heels and a dress, with styled hair, and the guy in a fedora, vest, and blue jeans.

Shanna-Kaye: hope those help! 🙂

Virginia: We always ask about their favorite place, favorite things. Sometimes we take the engagements at their wedding site if it’s an outdoor setting with lots to see and do. Is it bad to post a link the the stop motion videos my daughter creates out of her fun engagement sessions?http://vintagemodernphotography.com/?splash=1#/75
