When I save my files as the medium grade, am I sacrificing quality or creating unneeded noise?

 Question from Landon: “I know its not wednesday but I’m hoping I can still ask…When shooting weddings I always shoot RAW but typically set my file size to the medium grade (mRAW or sRAW1) to save on file space. I have clients who have printed at 24×36 without a problem. But I’m curious if I’m sacrificing that much quality or creating unneeded noise by using the middle class…

 Jfs Photoguy:  what kind of camera are you using?? In all my years shooting, I’ve never heard of such a ths I’m using are a Canon 5D Mk II & Canon 7D. Each one has 3 different RAW quality settings

Jfs Photoguy: Ahhh, learn something new…seeing as how im not a canon shooter…alwasy work in full resolution of the sensor…dont hold back…
