My name is Daniela Tricomi and I was born and raised in Italy, where I earned my masters degree in construction engineering. I also studied architecture in Spain. On campus we had a dark room to develop and print our films. We didn’t have any digital cameras yet. During my college years I participate and won several photography competitions.
Then I started working as an engineer and life got so busy that I forgot all about cameras and pictures until my son was born, almost five years ago, and my husband bought a Nikon d7000 and a set of prime lenses.
I quit my job in Italy last September (2015) and moved to Jacksonville (FL) where I am testing my capacity and my limits in portraits photography. I now shoot with a Nikon d750 and I use my creativity to explore all the possibilities from traditional portraits to underwater shooting to organic painted canvas based on my pictures.
