The above image was shot on a Nikon d700 a sigma art 35 f1.4
I loved the gardens and the path. I asked the couple to walk down the path from the top. Once I was at a distance, they started walking.. This shot was taken in the hour before it gets dark.
The above photo was taken at a wedding and I was by the window waiting to take a photo of the mother of the bride with her daughter. Then this special moment happened. I had already positioned myself in a place that painted them in lovely soft light, the rest was luck and patience.
On as wet and cloudy day an hour before it got dark we ventured out for some photos. The light was soft and atmospheric. I asked the couple to stand between the trees and think about their favorite part of the day. I then ran far back enough to capture the perspective I had imagined.
I captured the couple walking back to their guests by lacing the high sun slightly behind them and positioning myself properly to be able to expose their faces.
This image features a strong pink light just before it gets dark. I placed my subjects in that light to use it as a spot light. I am always looking for pockets of light and shadows of all quality. I didn’t need to give this couple direction as they were whispering to each other and just enjoying being married.
In this image, I have avoided the high sun by using a covered shady spot. I like the color in the graffiti so I used it in my composition.
I directed the couple where to stand and they positioned themselves into that pose. The girl was telling her boyfriend what she loves most about him.
Taken with Nikon d750 sigma art 35 1.4 lens and metering off the bright area of the sky.
I positioned the couple and directed them to whisper favorite parts of their day to each other while I shot different perspectives.
I used the pocket of light in the woods to spotlight this couple.
I asked my subjects to stop walking and look up to the glorious light above.
I used the ambient street lights of London to capture this couple while incorporating the lines of the road into my composition.
This was the last capture of the evening. This kiss, it was just perfect, romantic and real.
In this shot I liked the triangles. The light and sky were amazing. I asked the couples to get close and touch foreheads. I love the symmetry in this photo. This was shot within the last half hour before it gets dark.

I have been a professional photographer for 4 years and this year I have moved my business (and family) from Suffolk in England to Melbourne, Australia. This has been a massive challenge as well as being a fantastic adventure. Being a photographer is the perfect job for me. I get to be relaxed, creative and have really good chats with people. I love meeting new people and discovering their stories and making new friends. I believe to be successful is primarily to be happy and all these things make me happy.
