Hi! I’m Laura! I’m not a jump around and make loud noises kind of person so you won’t see tons of big smiles or anything like that. I try to keep things light and fun with everyone that I work with, but I also do a lot of observing. I work with a lot of children and it’s important for them to feel relaxed around me or it will show in their film. I photograph the things that you wouldn’t think of photographing. I look for the stories in people sometimes. It’s important that the people you work with trust you. I photograph births and see people at their most vulnerable times and I look to make a connection with them from the start. I photograph maternity, births, newborns, children in Baltimore, Maryland.
