Kate Parker is a photographer based out of Atlanta, GA where she runs her photography business, Kate T. Parker Photography. Kate’s favorite subjects to shoot are her two girls, aged 6 and 9, who inspire her daily. She is a commercial and fine art photographer primarily as well as family and wedding.Her work has been featured in galleries in New York, Boston, and Los Angeles among others. Kate’s recent project “Strong is the New Pretty” has been highlighted in the Huffington Post, the Daily Mail UK, NPR, the Washington Post, Lean In, Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls at the Party, and Athleta. “Strong is the New Pretty” features images of her girls celebrating them as the strong, confident, athletic females they are. Her newest project, “Blended” which showcases the beauty of adoption was featured on Buzzfeed, Vanity Fair Italy and Bored Panda.
